These terms and conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the one-time outfit rental services ("Services") provided by Rentesthetic ("We," "Us," or "Our") through our website www.rentesthetic.com. By using our Services, Client ("You" or "Your") agrees to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please refrain from using our Services.

We reserve the right to modify or make changes to the Services we provide and to these Terms and Conditions. Any changes made will not have a material impact on your use of the Services. We recommend that you review these Terms and Conditions each time you use our Services to stay informed about any amendments.

We maintain the right to decline any order you make with us. We have the discretion to impose limits or cancel quantities purchased per individual, household, or order. These restrictions may apply to orders placed using the same customer account, credit card, or billing and/or shipping address. If we need to modify or cancel an order, we will make an effort to notify you using the email address, billing address, or phone number provided during the order placement. We also reserve the right to restrict or disallow orders that, in our sole judgment, seem to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

Eligibility: 

a. You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. If you are under 18, you may use Rentesthetic with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

b. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement and comply with its terms.

Rental Process:

a. You may browse and select the items available for rent through our website or physically at our Toronto boutique (by appointment only).

b. By placing an order and providing payment information, you authorize us to charge you the rental fees and any applicable fees as outlined on our website.

c. We reserve the right to decline or cancel your rental at our discretion.

Rental Fees and Payments: 

a. Rental fees will be clearly displayed on our website for each individual item in Canadian dollars (CAD) plus any applicable taxes.

b. You agree to pay the rental fees and any additional charges (such as late fees or damages) as specified on our website. 

c. In the event of damage, staining, non-returned rental or loss of the item, you will be charged a repair, cleaning, or replacement fee as determined by us for up to retail value of the item. DO NOT RENT AN ITEM IF YOU DON’T HAVE SUFFICIENT FUNDS TO COVER THE RETAIL VALUE. 

d. If you fail to make timely payments for the amounts you owe us, we reserve the right to initiate collection procedures. You are responsible for paying any outstanding fees and any expenses incurred during the collection process, including but not limited to reasonable attorney fees.

e. We accept payment through the designated payment methods displayed on our website.

f. By providing your payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method and authorize us to charge the provided payment method for the rental fees and any applicable charges.

Delivery and Return: 

a. Delivery is only available for the province of Ontario.

b. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver the rented outfit to you by the specified delivery date, but we do not guarantee delivery on a specific date.

c. In the case of any delivery delays or the inability of Rentesthetic's delivery services to complete the delivery as scheduled, Rentesthetic will make every reasonable attempt to inform the user. Rentesthetic cannot be held accountable for delays or unsuccessful deliveries resulting from events outside our control.

d. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information during the ordering process. 

e. You agree to return the rented Outfit on or before the specified return date using the provided return shipping label unless the booking has been extended and approved by Rentesthetic. A daily late fee of $50 may apply if an item is not returned on the final day of your rental period without our approval. For rentals being mailed back, late fees will only be charged if the item is postmarked at a later date than agreed upon.

f. If the item is not returned within a week from the designated return date, the client will be charged the full retail price of the item.

Condition and Care of Outfits: 

a. The rented item will be delivered to you in clean and wearable condition.

b. You agree to treat the rental with care and return it in the same condition as it was delivered, excluding normal wear and tear. 

c. You are responsible for any loss, minor and major damages, or theft of the item. However, if a "$5 Damage Protection" was added to the booking, you will not be held responsible for minor damages, such as broken zips, clasps, closures, missing beads, and minor stains, up to a maximum of $50 per rental. To prevent stains, we advise against using self-tanner, shimmer lotions, body paint, etc.

e. Rentesthetic will handle the professional dry cleaning of the item. Please refrain from attempting to clean the item yourself in case of any stains.

f. Rentesthetic shall not be held liable for any health issues or complaints for treatments that have resulted from the care of an item or from its fabric composition. 

Cancellation and Refunds: 

a. All rental bookings are non-refundable. 

b. If you cancel your booking five days or more prior to the start of your rental day by emailing us at info@rentesthetic.com, we will provide you with a store credit that has no expiration date and can be used for any future rental with Rentesthetic. 

c. If you cancel an item within 5 days (120 hours) of your rental, you will be responsible for the full rental amount and any additional delivery fees, as the item may already be in transit to your destination. 

d. Rentesthetic reserves the right to cancel a rental in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, the client will be eligible for a full refund.

Intellectual Property:

a. All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Rentesthetic or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

b. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content from our website without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability: 

In no event shall Rentesthetic be held liable for any damages of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the use or performance of the platform or the services. This includes any delays or inability to use the platform, the provision or failure to provide services, or any information, services, or items obtained through the platform, regardless of whether such damages are based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory. If the user is dissatisfied with any part of the platform, the services, or any of the terms of use, their sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue the use of the platform or the services.
